We talked to ALT, Mr. Myles, about Japanese culture. In my class, we told Coming-of-age ceremony, Valentine’s day, Setsubun, and Doll’s Festival.

I was surprised to hear that in America it’s common for men to give flowers to women on February 14th. I really enjoyed learning about the difference between American and Japanese culture.

It was difficult for us to explain Doll’s Festival in English, but we did our best.
